KOA CME on Foot and Ankle Care

Organised by: Department of Orthopaedics, Chamarajanagar Institute of Medical Sciences under the aegis of Karnataka Orthopaedic Association (KOA), Mysore Orthopaedic Association (MOA) & Chamarajanagar Orthopaedic Surgeons Association (COSA)

The KOA CME on Foot and Ankle Care, themed “Healing the Heel: No Achilles’ Heel Left Behind,” was successfully held on 21 June 2026 at the Chamarajanagar Institute of Medical Sciences, Chamarajanagar. The programme was organized under the aegis of the Karnataka Orthopaedic Association (KOA) and coordinated by Dr. Maruthi C V along with the organizing committee.

The CME brought together an esteemed panel of faculty including Dr. Krishnaprasad P.R., Dr. Chethan B. Shetty, Dr. Chinmaya S.P., Dr. Dev Anand Galagali, Dr. Shivkumar G.V., Dr. Prateeksh P. Suvarna, Dr. Harshitha, and Dr. Shakeeb Md Shariff, who delivered expert lectures and led interactive case-based discussions on a wide range of foot and ankle disorders.

The programme provided an excellent platform for academic exchange, knowledge sharing, and continuing professional development, benefiting orthopaedic surgeons and postgraduate trainees from across the region. The event was well attended and successfully achieved its educational objectives in advancing foot and ankle care.
