Theme: Comprehensive update about contemporary management in elbow pathologies

Course Description:

Elbow Course is the first ever comprehensive update on contemporary management of elbow issues including trauma, sports injuries, and nerve pathologies. It includes lectures, video presentations, group discussion, one to one interaction with faculty members and hands on skill application on cadavers.

Orthopaedic surgeons aspiring to excel in this specialty will have an opportunity to discuss the issues related to elbow.

Course features:

• Live and recorded surgical demonstration videos of the various surgical procedures by the International and National faculty.
• Cadaveric workshop on fresh frozen cadavers with hands-on learning of the various approaches to elbow, complex procedures of ligament reconstruction, and nerve releases.
• To learn fixation of various fractures around elbow with radial head replacement.

• Discuss principles of management of common elbow pathologies

• Analyse the literature regarding outcome of common elbow pathologies

• Lateral elbow- Approaches, Tennis Elbow Release, LUCL repair and Reconstruction, Radial Tunnel release, Radial head fixation and replacement
• Medial elbow- Approach, Cubital tunnel release, ulnar nerve transposition, Medial coronoid facet ORIF
• Posterior – TRAP approach, Chevron Osteotomy, Ulna – TBW and Plate fixation • Distal humerus fixation and Biceps Repair
